Compilation showcases new and exclusive tracks featured on the hit CBS
television series including top musical acts such as series star and
Grammy Award winner LL COOL J, Ryan Bingham, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club,
Daughtry, Jakob Dylan, Ice Cube & European breakout artist Caro Emerald
Artists’ Addiction Records is pleased to announce the release of a specially produced soundtrack album showcasing music from the hit television series, NCIS: LOS ANGELES. The compilation features new, exclusive—and in some cases previously unreleased—tracks from some of today’s top artists, including series star and Grammy Award winner LL COOL J, Taio Cruz, Alex Clare, Jakob Dylan, Daughtry, Allen Stone, Ryan Bingham, Ice Cube and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. One of the soundtrack’s breakout tracks is from emerging Dutch songstress Caro Emerald, who has been called the ‘Dutch Adele.’ Caro has sold over a million albums in Europe and recently performed songs from her debut album in front of a captivated, sold-out audience at London's Royal Albert Hall. The NCIS: LOS ANGELES soundtrack is one of her first forays into the U.S. market.
The series, currently in its fourth season on the CBS Television Network, was created by Shane Brennan, who also serves as Executive Producer. The album was conceived and compiled by Mark Wike, the series’ music supervisor, and Jonathan Scott Miller, a veteran A&R executive with an extensive background in soundtrack development and marketing.
As NCIS: LOS ANGELES’ music supervisor and soundtrack producer, Mark Wike explains “This soundtrack album encapsulates the myriad musical pulses that flow through the City of Angels. From the folky canyons, down through the night clubs of Hollywood, to the urban sprawl, it has it all.”
Creator and Executive Producer Shane Brennan adds, “Great storytelling is not just about what is seen on the screen, but what is heard as well. Whether a car chase, undercover operation, or watching our characters banter in the bullpen, music is an integral part of each episode of NCIS: LOS ANGELES. We are lucky to work with some of the most talented and creative artists on a weekly basis, and we’re excited to share some of this music with the fans on our first soundtrack.”
